Licenses and Professional Associations
I am a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a credentialed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP). I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC).
Education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington and my Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a focus in Systems Counseling from LIOS Graduate College of Saybrook University in Seattle.
Experience
I have been in the counseling field for over twenty years. I began my career working with adolescents and young adults before transitioning to a focus on adult populations. I have worked with individuals and couples since 2012, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have experience working with substance use concerns, which often intersect with these broader emotional and relational challenges. My work is informed by Hakomi, a mindfulness-centered somatic approach, and I bring both clinical structure and genuine warmth to the therapeutic relationship.
